The collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, a book, and copies of portraits. Dr. Tudor compiled information about James J. Hill and entered his name as a candidate to Governor Edward T. Schafer for the North Dakota Rough Rider Award. The correspondence was written to and by Dr. Tudor. The oversize portraits are copies from the Minnesota Historical Society, and the book donated by Dr. Tudor's from his personal library is titled James J. Hill Empire Builder of the Northwest, by Michael P. Malone.
